Todd Blackmon
Hi, I'm Todd Blackmon – a passionate music educator with over 10 years of experience helping students discover their musical potential and develop lifelong skills.
My musical journey began in childhood, supported by parents who recognized music's transformative power. This foundation led me to earn a Bachelor's degree in Music with a focus in Jazz Percussion, combining technical precision with creative expression.
Teaching Philosophy & Approach
For more than a decade, I've had the privilege of working with motivated students and families who value quality music education. I believe music training extends far beyond learning notes and rhythms – it develops critical thinking, enhances cognitive abilities, and builds the discipline and confidence that benefit students throughout their lives.
My approach balances proven teaching methods with personalized instruction, ensuring each student receives guidance tailored to their individual learning style and goals.
